MoneyBack helps you save receipts, research purchase recovery options, manage deadlines, and track recovery cases.
MoneyBack may process receipt images, purchase details, recovery research, case status, notification preferences, subscription status, and limited service-usage data such as AI request token counts and estimated API cost. If you choose to sign in with Apple for Cloud Vault sync, MoneyBack may also process your Apple sign-in identity.
We use this information to provide receipt reading, recovery research, reminders, subscription access, reliability, abuse prevention, and cost monitoring. If you choose to sign in, we also use it to provide Cloud Vault sync and account support.
MoneyBack uses Apple for sign-in and in-app purchases, Supabase for authentication/database/private receipt storage, Render for API hosting, OpenAI for receipt understanding and recovery research, and RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management. These providers process data needed to provide their respective services.
You can use MoneyBack without creating a MoneyBack account. Purchases saved while signed out remain on your device unless you later choose to sign in and enable Cloud Vault sync. If you create a MoneyBack account, you can delete it from the app, which is designed to remove the account, Cloud Vault records, and private receipt backups. Some operational records may be retained where reasonably required for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or service integrity.
You can disable notifications in iOS Settings, sign out, clear local device data, or delete your MoneyBack account in the app.
Support contact information will be maintained on MoneyBack's App Store product page.
